Alexandre M. Anjos

Alexandre Martins dos Anjos holds PhD in Science in the Computer Engineering concentration area from the University of São Paulo (USP). Master in New Information and Communication Technologies from the National University of Distance Education in Madrid. Specialist in the Training of Academic Advisors for Distance Education from the Federal University of Mato Grosso and has a bachelor?s degree in Computer Science and Economic Sciences from the University of Cuiabá. At the Federal University of Mato Grosso, he is a professor for the undergraduate and graduate Program in Education, a researcher for the Laboratory of Studies on Information and Communication Technologies in Education and the coordinator of the Center for Innovation in Educational Technology. Currently, he is the Dean of Educational Technologies, who coordinates the Open University System of Brazil To promote the scientific and technological development for the Open and Distance Education in Brazil, he holds the Chair of the Presidency of UniRede, a Network University Association, an institutional member of ICDE - International Council for Open and Distance Education. Has experience and interest in research areas in the field of Open, Flexible and Distance Education, Information and Communication Technologies, Innovation in the field in teaching, research and extension, through Educational Technologies, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Virtual Environments of Learning, Assessment of Sensory-Motor Skills in Three-Dimensional Virtual Environments, Learning Objects, Public Management and Information Technology Governance.
