Ariane Machado Lima is Assistant Professor of the Information Systems Program, University of São Paulo, Brazil, where she has been since 2009. She is graduate in Computer Science and obtained her master degree in Computer Science in 2002 and PhD degree in Bioinformatics in 2006, all from University of São Paulo, Brazil. She did her postdoctoral research in Bioinformatics at Institute of Psychiatry, University of São Paulo, Brazil, from 2007 to 2009. Her research interests include Information Systems. Pattern Recognition, Formal Languages and Bioinformatics.
